Notice of Your Financial Privacy Rights
At Southeast National Bank, the basis for each customer relationship, many of which span a number of decades, is trust. You have chosen to do business with us, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you have chosen to share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you an array of financial products and services you need to accomplish your financial goals. We believe we can do both.
We, our, and us, when used is this notice, mean Southeast National Bank.
This is our privacy notice for our customers. When we use the words "you" and "your," we mean the following types of customers:
Our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as a(n):
- Deposit account
- Loan account
- Safe deposit box
- Retail installment contract we hold and service
- Self-directed Individual Retirement Account
- Financial, investment, or economic advisory services
- All persons who use our trust department
We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you. We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information.
We first define some terms.
Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Hereafter, we will use the term "information" to mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section.
An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.
A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate or ours. This is also known as simply, an "other party."

Our Internet Website
We do not collect nonpublic personal information from visitors to the Southeast National Bank website. All visitors remain anonymous. Visitors may elect to provide us with nonpublic personal information via email or our feedback form. This information is used internally, as appropriate to handle the sender's request and manage the Southeast National Bank website. It is not disseminated or sold to other organizations. Visitors should, however, keep in mind that email is not secure and others may have access to their transmissions. Visitors should call us when requests or statements need to use sensitive or nonpublic personal information.
Standard software is used to collect non-identifying information about our visitors, such as:

- IP address (A numeric address given to servers connected to the Internet)

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of children online, and we comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act that are applicable to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under the age of thirteen.
Information We Disclose About You
We do NOT disclose any information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. Examples of this might include disclosures necessary to service your account or prevent unauthorized transactions.
The bank is prohibited from disclosing account numbers to third parties for telemarketing, direct mail marketing, or electronic mail marketing, even with the consent of the customer (except that account numbers may be shared with credit bureaus, checkbook companies, companies that provide our payment coupon booklets, and companies that provide our ATM and debit cards).
The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Information
We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information.

We do not disclose information about former customers, except as permitted by law.
